Summer Reading

{Kate Spade 06 ad campaign}
Something about the summer makes me head straight to the travel writing section of the library and grab every book off the shelf. I'm itching to do some more globetrotting of my own but am currently lacking the time and funds to do so. Fortunately, reading about other people's adventures satisfies that need just a little.

Any other summer book suggestions?

  1. not a travel book, but "Devil In the White City" by Erik Larson is one of the best books I've read in the last few years. It reads like fiction, but it's actually based upon a ton of primary research, and it chronicles both the story of the Chicago world fair in the late 1800s and a serial killer who was operating in the city at the same time. Definite pageturner!

  5. You gotta love Julia Child! I wasn't a big fan of Julie/Julia the movie but I definitely need to check out her book.
